Check out the trailer for Where Strippers Go To Die here.
It’s almost here.
The trailer for WSGTD is almost complete thanks to the expertise of Louisiana native Danny Retz. Retz who’s extensive resume includes editing films for Sylvester Stallone (and much more) came on as part of the team, and we are ever so grateful.
Keep watching the site. The trailer should be up later this week! Also, there will be a cast and crew screening in August – details coming soon!
Ryan Dufrene of Bipolar Bear Productions is helping us with editing and scoring for WHERE STRIPPERS GO TO DIE. We hope to have a first cut in about a month! Ryan is a talented editor and composer and we’re thrilled to be working with him. www.bipolarbearproductions.com
Shanna Forrestall, one of the producers and stars of Where Strippers Go To Die, worked on The Last Exorcism (formerly known as Cotton), a feature film that shot in Louisiana last year.
The film was purchased by Lionsgate and is now slated for a theatrical release in the US on August 27, 2010. The fill will also have a theatrical release in Europe in 2010.

Well, we have officially moved into post production. I met with Ed this morning to see some of the rough cuts. Exciting. We are anticipating a few months of work to get a finished product.
Keep watching the website and our Facebook page for updates and additional pictures!

So, the night after final wrap, when I crawled into bed about 4 am, I fell into a deep sleep and had the following dream.
I was in a large house, and it had a series of “box windows” that were solid glass, and each one had a stripper pole mounted in them. And when I looked down at myself, I realized I was in stripper gear, the 7″ heels and everything, and I knew I was gonna have to dance on one of the poles, and got really nervous. But when I went over to the pole, Ed (my director) showed up and when I told him how nervous I was, he said, “don’t worry, I’ll show you a few moves,” and he proceeded to help me.
Then I woke up… and fell out laughing. Talk about exhaustion.
But the moral of the story is… that is exactly what happened. We all set out to do something bigger than anything we’d done before – and it required courage and vulnerability. And by helping each other we accomplished something greater than we’d ever imagined.
Thank you again to everyone who was part of the team!
